Q4 2022 Recap: 2 parolees from Perry County convicted of crimes involving alcohol set for release

There were two offenders convicted of crimes involving alcohol living in Perry County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the SW Illinois News.

The data shows both of the released offenders among the parolees were men. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes involving alcohol was 37. The younger parolee was a 36-year-old man sentenced in 2022, and the oldest was a 37-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Christopher A. Frampton. He was convicted in 2018 when he was 32 years old. He is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
