City of Red Bud Cultural Committee met Feb. 20.

Committee Members Present: Ben Schwartzkopf, Jeremy DeMond, Mike Rheinecker, Curt Guebert, Kyle Donjon

Committee Members Absent: None

Council Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, Alan Piel, Rodney Nevois

Others Present: Acting Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin. Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Others Absent: Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker

Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf called the meeting to order at 6:31 P.M.

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting January 16, 2023 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the January 16, 2022, meeting. Carried

II. Beautification Committee Request to Collect on July 27, 2023 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member DeMond, to approve the request from the Beautification Committee to collect at the 4-way on July 27, 2023, 2-6 P.M. for Santa’s Village. Carried

III. Request from Buena Vista Bank to Host Easter Egg Hunt at Ratz Park – April 1, 2023, at 1 P.M.

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to approve the request from the Buena Vista Bank to host an Easter Egg Hunt at Ratz Park on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 1 P.M. Carried

IV. Request from S. Peter UCC to Close Randolph Street for Fish Fry March 10 & 31, 2023

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the request from St. Peter UCC to close Randolph Street (notifying Roselein) for a fish fry on March 10 and March 31, 2023. Carried
