I. GovHR Wage/Benefits Study

Discussion was held regarding the wage study issues. A special Personnel Committee Meeting will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, to try and work out all the wage suggestions and get the information on the issues with the FOP contract. DeMond will get some information out to the council members as soon as possible. Poetker suggested moving the meeting earlier.

New Business

II. Life Insurance and AD&D Proposal – Updated Information to Include Current Rates This will be added to the April 10, 2023, special meeting agenda.

III. Annual Pay Raises/CPI Information

The CPI is 6.5% cost of living. This will be added to the April 10, 2023, special meeting agenda.

IV. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Tom Caverly addressed the committee on why some of the utility workers were given 9% cost of living raises, while he only received 5% and it was out in the public that the employees received a 7% cost of living raise. As an electric journeyman, with forty years’ experience, he felt that this was a slap in the face. Chairman DeMond said this will be discussed at the April 10, 2023, meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:56 P.M.
