City of Pinckneyville City Council met July 24.

Here is the agenda as provided by the council:

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AT CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS

      Members of the public are welcome at City Council meetings and may address the Council during Public Comment. To have a specific matter placed on the meeting agenda, a member of the public requesting an addition to the agenda should contact the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the Council meeting and provide the City Clerk with sufficient information to allow the City Clerk to determine the nature of the agenda item. The Council requests that members of the public avoid repetitive appearances before the Council with the same issue. Comments should be limited to approximately five (5) minutes. Groups who wish to address the Council on the same or similar issues should select a spokesman to present the concerns of the group members.

      1. Request from Perry County Ag Society for $1,500 donation from the hotel/motel tax fund to assist with advertising costs for the 2023 Perry County Fair. Please see attached.

      2. Request from Southern Illinois Chapter 32 of International Harvester Collectors for $1,000.00 donation from the hotel/motel tax fund to assist with advertising and signage for their 3rd annual Cubfest in Pinckneyville September 15 & 16, 2023, at the Perry County Fairgrounds. Please see attached.

      3. Ordinance No. O-2023-13, an ordinance authorizing an Intergovernmental Agreement for participation in the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS Master Agreement 2022). Please see attached.

      1. Resolution No. R-2023-28, a resolution authorizing the destruction of audio recordings of the closed Council meetings of the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, conducted on or before December 31, 2021. Please see attached.

      2. Resolution No. R-2023-31, a resolution to be placed on file, authorizing the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, to enter into an agreement with Rice Sullivan, LLC, for audit services. Please see attached.

      1. Resolution No. R-2023-29, a resolution to be placed on file, to accept bid proposals from Hagene Excavating, LLC, for demolition services at 707 Belle and 106 Fallon Street. Please see attached.

      2. Ordinance No. O-2023-11, an ordinance to be placed on file, authorizing the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, to enter into a second amendment to Option and Lease Agreement with Kiwi Solar 1, LLC. Please see attached.

      3. Resolution No. R-2023-30, a resolution to be placed on file, authorizing a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, and Taps and Vine, LLC. Please see attached.

      4. Resolution No. R-2023-32, a resolution adopting the Perry County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan. Please see attached.

      5. Ordinance No. O-2023-12, an ordinance to be placed on file, approving an addendum agreement between the City of Pinckneyville, Illinois and the Illinois Department of Transportation regarding the project for realignment of Illinois State Route 127. Please see attached.
