1. Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items – None.

2. Water Treatment Plant – HMG Engineer John Wieters and Tim Birk presented a change order to the Water Treatment Plant. Haier Plumbing and Heating had four items on a change request with pricing changes causes by a change in the style of pipe. The four changes resulted in the City of Waterloo seeing the price increase by $1,585.44 – Alderman Joel Vogt made a motion to approve the change request. Alderman Russ Row seconded the motion. All committee members voted in favor. Motion passed. The City of Waterloo has already paid out $1,285,000 for the Water Treatment Plant, the City of Waterloo can include that amount in the EPA loan to receive those funds back now and repay them over the length of the loan. During the discussion, the consensus of the committee was to put that money into the loan to receive it back, the loan has a less than 1% interest rate and we currently make more money than that on the money we hold, so over the course of the loan it will be a positive gain for the City of Waterloo. Russ Row made a motion, Matt Buettner seconded the motion all member voted yes. Motion passed.

3. Comments – None

Motion to adjourn 7:20pm made by Russ Row, Seconded by Joel Vogt – All members in favor.
