HEARING: The City of Red Bud has filed an application for a variance to reduce building setback distances in the new RBBP. The highway side yard building setback will be reduced to 50’ and the side yard and backyard setbacks will be reduced to 25’ for all lots within the park.

Jeff Mueller stated the lots are smaller than the current East Industrial Park, variance will allow for more space for business and lots without the empty space. In the East Industrial Park lots are larger and only about ½ of the lot space is being utilized. Smaller lots are more desirable and useful to potential businesses.
