4.7% of Perry County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Perry County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 390 people out of the 21,158 living in Perry County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Perry County has decreased compared to the 5.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Perry County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.2%.
