Monroe County Board of County Commissioners met Dec. 29.

The meeting of the County Commissioners of Monroe County, Illinois was called to order at 10:03 a.m. by Chairman George E. Green.
The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairman George E. Green and Commissioner Vicki Koerber were present. Commissioner Dennis M. Knobloch was absent.
Others present included County Clerk Jonathan McLean, State’s Attorney Ryan Webb, Scott Woodsmall with the Waterloo Republic-Times, County Treasurer Kevin Koenigstein, and HR Officer Missy Whittington.
Chairman Green asked for public comments. There were none.
Commissioner Koerber made a motion to adopt an ordinance abolishing current form of chapter 11, article 4, section 4 and adopting a new chapter 11, article 4, section 4 of the Monroe County Code of Ordinances regarding paid time off benefits. Second by Chairman Green. All voting Aye. None Nay. Knobloch Absent. Motion carried. Ordinance #23-15
Commissioner Koerber made a motion to adjourn. Second by Chairman Green. All voting Aye. None Nay. Commissioner Knobloch Absent. Motion carried.
