City of Red Bud Finance Committee met March 18.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Rodney Nevois, Mike Rheinecker, Alan Piel

Committee Members Absent: Bill Hanebutt, Ben Schwartzkopf

Council Members Present: Curt Guebert, Jeremy DeMond

Council Members Absent: Kyle Donjon

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, Attorney Rick Cooper, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Adm./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Committee Chairman Nevois called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Old Business

I. FY’25 Budget Draft

The budgets and summary sheets are in the packets for review.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – February 19, 2024 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Nevois, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the February 19, 2024, meeting. Carried

II. CD Information

A. Maturing CDs

The next CDs are maturing in November.

III. Financial Dashboard

Chairman Nevois reviewed the financial summary. The budget is at 83% of the year, the revenue is 13% over the budget ($316,720), while expenses are down 47% ($2,991,602) of the budget.

IV. Volunteer Month Contributions – Parks & Rec., Ec. Dev., Planning Commission

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Nevois, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve authorization to contribute $600 in the names of the thirty volunteers on the Parks & Rec., Ec. Dev., and Planning Commission to the Community Foundation of Red Bud in honor of National Volunteer Month. Carried

V. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City None

The meeting was adjourned at 6:06 P.M.
