Auburn Community Unit School District 10 Communications Committee met March 26.

Committee Members present: Lynde Pavich(Board member), Jeff Miller (Board member), Sandy Jones (AEA), Melinda Marques (AEA), Autumn Litteken (AEA), Ken Reedy (AEA), Anne Schmidt (AEA)
● Presentation of AEA E-learning Benefits
● 73% teachers are in support of E-learning
● Discussion of e-learning proposal
● Pros/Cons for different building levels/kids/parents/teachers
● Board Committee Members agrees to continue the discussion with other board members
● Union Committee members and Board vocalized appreciation for the time and open discussion
● Board urges teachers to continue to have individual discussions with board members and administrators to keep communication open.

Article III Association Rights F, 2
In order to facilitate communications between the Association and the Board, the Association and Board shall maintain a Board/Association Communication Committee consisting of two Board members, and up to five members of the Association. The Superintendent shall serve as an ex officio member of the committee. The Committee shall meet upon the call of either party, and minutes of each meeting shall be promptly prepared and distributed to all committee members.
