City of Pinckneyville City Council met May 13.

GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AT CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
Members of the public are welcome at City Council meetings and may address the Council during Public Comment. To have a specific matter placed on the meeting agenda, a member of the public requesting an addition to the agenda should contact the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the Council meeting and provide the City Clerk with sufficient information to allow the City Clerk to determine the nature of the agenda item. The Council requests that members of the public avoid repetitive appearances before the Council with the same issue. Comments should be limited to approximately five (5) minutes. Groups who wish to address the Council on the same or similar issues should select a spokesman to present the concerns of the group members.

1. Request approval of a quote from Peak Roofing Solutions LLC in the amount of $4,875.25 for a new metal roof on the white park office building. Please see attached.
2. Request approval of a quote from Peak Roofing Solutions LLC in the amount of $3,876.76 for a new metal roof on the red park building. Please see attached.
3. Resolution No. R-2024-23, a resolution to be placed on file authorizing the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, to enter into a Swimming Pool Management Service Agreement for the Management of the City Pool with Jo C. Summers. Please see attached.
4. Request approval of an emergency purchase of a gearbox motor on the lake destratifier from Motion in the amount of $6,854.56 to replace the current one to be paid from the water fund. Please see attached. 5. Purchase a 2012 Caterpillar Backhoe/Loader 416F from the Street Department in the amount of $49,000.00 (in lieu of it being traded in on a Street Department purchase listed below) to be split between gas, water, and sewer. Please see attached request plus attachment under Commissioner Peradotta – Item #2.

1. Request for approval of Pay Estimate No. 1 authorizing payment to K.R.B. Excavating, Inc., for $101,620.44 for the Mann Drive Reconstruction Project using MFT/Rebuild Illinois Funds approved in Resolution R-2023-40. Please see attached.
2. Purchase 2024 Caterpillar Backhoe for $136,400.00 and sell 2012 Cat backhoe to Utility Department $49,000.00 or will trade in the 2012 Cat backhoe to Fabick Cat and will be given $49,000.00 trade-in allowance and will owe $87,400.00 difference to Fabick Cat of Salem. Please see attached.
