City of Red Bud Finance Committee met May 20.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Rodney Nevois, Alan Piel

Committee Members Absent: Ben Schwartzkopf, Mike Rheinecker, Bill Hanebutt

Council Members Present: Curt Guebert, Jeremy DeMond

Council Members Absent: Kyle Donjon

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Rick Cooper, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, Police Chief  

Brittingham, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Others Absent: Administrative Officer Jill Landgraf

Pledge of Allegiance

Committee Chairman Nevois called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. There being no quorum, the meeting was for discussion purposes only.

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – April 15, 2024

II. Façade Grant Program

Included in the packet was the proposed Red Bud Façade Program. This will be on the June 3rd council agenda.

III. CD Information

A. Maturing CDs

There are two CDs due in October, four due in November and two due in December

IV. Financial Dashboard

Committee Chairman Nevois reviewed the FY’24 unaudited financial summary. Revenue is $650,207 over the budget, while expenses are $2,245,590 under the budget.

V. Lower Kaskaskia Stakeholders Evening on the Kaskaskia Event - $500 Contribution

This will be on the June 3rd council agenda.

VI. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None
