City of Red Bud Cultural Committee met May 20.

Mayor Harbaugh called the meeting to order at 6:03 P.M. There being no quorum, the meeting was for discussion purposes only.

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting April 15, 2024
II. Request from St. John’s Catholic Church to Use Ratz Park Pavilion 1 & 3 Less Fee on August 24, 2024, for “Mass & Meal at the Park”
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda.
III. Request from Randolph County Humane Society to Collect at the Four Way Stop on October 18 & 19, 2024
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda.
IV. Request from Chamber of Commerce – Detour Signs & Barricades
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda. Proposed is a joint share in purchasing detour signs and barricades, between the city, fire department and the chamber. Those present had no objection to go ahead and order the signs and barricades, so they are here before the Firemen’s Picnic.
V. Request from Chamber of Commerce – Community Yard Sale
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda. The concept is to sponsor a community yard sale, renting out spaces at city hall park, for those who may not have space at home. The rental fee would be donated to local charities. There were no objections among those present.
VI. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City None
The meeting was adjourned at 6:06 P.M.
