I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – May 20, 2024
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Donjon, seconded by Committee Member Piel to approve the minutes from the May 20, 2024, meeting. Carried
II. Authorization to Purchase Replacement Lawn Mower
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Donjon, seconded by Committee Member Hanebutt to approve the proposal from SN Partners for a replacement John Deere Z970R ZTrak mower, with trade-in, NTE $13,812.24 . Carried
III. Request Authorization to Complete Sports Complex Lighting Upgrade Project
Superintendent Eckart explained the proposal, noting that the fire department light upgrades will be eligible for money left over from this project. The net project costs are estimated to be $15,913.28. The funds are a use it or lose grant from IMEA.
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Donjon, seconded by Committee Member DeMond to approve the proposal from Superintendent Eckart for the Sports Complex Lighting Project, NTE $70,000, with a 75% reimbursement from IMEA Energy Efficiency Funds. Carried
IV. Authorization to Purchase Playground Mulch for RBAA
Chairman Donjon asked Jill Landgraf to reach out to see if she can find someone to haul the mulch from St. Louis Compost as a cost savings over the Davey proposal. The Sports Complex will try to get volunteer labor to spread the mulch.
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Donjon, seconded by Committee Member Hanebutt to approve the proposal for playground mulch at the Sports Complex, NTE $2,300. Carried
V. YMCA Pool Report
The pool report is enclosed in the packet. Landgraf has been meeting regularly with the YMCA.
