Addison School District 4 Board of Education met June 26.

Minutes of the Closed Session Meeting of June 26, 2024, held in the District Office Conference Room.
Roll call showed the following individuals:
PRESENT: Bollig, Castillo, Frangidakis, Lange, Ruffolo, Williams
ABSENT: Triantafillos
A quorum was declared present.
Also present: Dr. Nick Sutton & Dr. Kim Lohse
MINUTES
Mr. Williams explained that the Board would like to go into an executive session meeting for the purposes of discussing matters pertaining to personnel (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)), litigation (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(12)), and student discipline (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9)).
Move to Suspend Open Session
Motion by Mr. Lange, second by Mr. Frangidakis to move to suspend open session at 4:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE: AYE: Bollig, Frangidakis, Ruffolo, Castillo, Lange, Williams
ABSENT: Triantafillos
NAY: None…Motion Carried.
Move to Executive Session
Motion by Mr. Ruffolo, second by Mr. Lange to move to go into Executive Session at 4:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE: AYE: Bollig, Frangidakis, Ruffolo, Castillo, Lange, Williams
ABSENT: Triantafillos
NAY: None…Motion Carried.
The following items were discussed:
2.01 Personnel:
• The Board discussed the personnel report and discussed personnel items.
• Mr. Williams asked a question about the personnel report.
2.02 Litigation:
• Dr. Lohse updated the Board of Education on the settlement agreement and memorandum outlined in the June 26 Board of Education packet.
2.02 Student Discipline:
• The suspension report was reviewed.
• Mr. Frangidakis asked for clarification on one of the discipline matters at the middle school.
Move to Adjourn Executive Session
Motion by Mr. Lange, second by Mr. Frangidakis to move to adjourn Executive Session at 4:41 p.m.

ABSENT: Triantafillos
NAY: None…Motion Carried.
Move to Open Session
Motion by Mr. Lange, second by Mr. Frangidakis to move to Open Session of the Regular session meeting of June 26, 2024.
