State Representative David Friess (IL) | Representative David Friess (R) 115th District
State Representative David Friess visited several schools in his district this week to distribute State of Illinois coloring books to 4th and 5th grade students. During his visits, Rep. Friess also educated the students about the role of a State Representative and engaged in a question-and-answer session.
The schools visited included Evansville Attendance Center in Sparta, Lincoln Elementary School in Sparta, St. Mary’s Catholic Grade School in Chester, and St. John’s Lutheran Grade School in Chester. Additional schools within the district are scheduled for future visits.
“I had a wonderful time meeting with students this week,” Rep. Friess stated. “Thank you to each school that allowed me to visit. It’s always an uplifting and fun time to get to meet the youth of our district. I loved getting to talk to them, answer their questions, and teach them a little bit about what we do. I’m also glad we were able to provide them with coloring books that will educate them on the history of our great state.”
Rep. Friess serves the people of the 115th District.
