The specifics of the request include details such as the vendor's name, transaction date, transaction description, and the amount involved in each transaction. In related news, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced in July 2023 the most extensive multi-year program called Rebuild Illinois aimed at improving and repairing all modes of transportation. Governor JB Pritzker stated that over $40 billion would be invested over six years into this initiative.
According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, JB Pritzker's Rebuild Illinois program is planning or implementing ten major projects in Chicago with an investment of $396 million. Three out of these ten projects are scheduled for completion in 2024 while the remaining seven are projected for completion between 2025 and 2030.
Furthermore, under the Rebuild Illinois program, $107 million is being invested in seven projects set for completion in Kane County. In central Cook County, ten projects involving road and bridge construction are being funded with an investment totaling $220 million from the Rebuild Illinois program.
