City of Waterloo Planning & Annexation Committee met Nov. 4.
Here are the minutes provided by the commission:
Meeting called to order at 6:52 pm with the following committee members in attendance, Aldermen Russ Row, Joel Vogt, Matt Buettner, Tina Charron, Gary Most and Mayor Stan Darter. Jim Trantham, Jim Hopkins, Tim Birk, J.R. Landeck, Shawn Kennedy, Nathan Krebel, Roberta Rohwedder and Mechelle Childers were present. Dennis Brand, Matt Patterson, Evelyn & Sarah Deutch, Alex Bishop and Mark Degner were also present.
Agenda Item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items: None
Agenda Item 2: Annexation Agreement for Sydenstricker Nobbe. Nathan handed out area maps showing the land being considered for annexation. After detailing how this will be done a motion by Joel Vogt and a second from Matt Buettner to go forward with this was passed unanimously.
Agenda Item 3: Deer Ridge Crossing Concept Plan: Nathan presented the concept plan and discussed the sidewalks and the thru street to Legacy Drive. The consensus of the committee was that the sidewalks are needed and that the thru street was not.
Agenda item 4: Comments: None
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Gary Most and a second from Joel Vogt. Passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:13 pm.
