Power outage leaves parts of Randolph County without electricity

Some areas in Central and Northern Randolph County are experiencing power outages due to a fire at a substation. In response, several facilities have been made available for residents needing warming and shelter.

The Red Bud YMCA, located at 130 S Oak Street, Red Bud, IL 62278, is offering warming and shelter services until it closes at 8 PM. Pets are not allowed.

The Red Bud Public Library at 925 S Main Street, Red Bud, IL 62278 provides warming, Wi-Fi access, and shelter until it closes at 7 PM. Pets are not permitted here either.

For those requiring assistance beyond these hours, the Red Bud Regional Hospital offers continuous warming and sheltering services. The hospital is situated at 325 Spring Street, Red Bud, IL 62278. Pets are also not allowed in this facility.
