City of Waterloo Planning Commission met Jan. 6.

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm with the following committee members in attendance, Aldermen Russ Row, Joel Vogt, Matt Buettner, Tina Charron, Gary Most and Mayor Stan Darter. Shawn Kennedy, J.R. Landeck, Roberta Rohwedder, Nathan Krebel and Mechelle Childress were present. Ryan Hirsch, Jordon Riley and Matt Patterson were also present.

Agenda Item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items: None

Agenda Item 2: Sketch Plat for proposed DEER RIDGE CROSSING: Nathan explained the biggest difference between this plat and the last one the committee saw was that the street to connect to a different subdivision was taken out. Matt Patterson told the committee that a sidewalk along Hamacher would be included.

Agenda item 3: Annexation Agreement for proposed DEER RIDGE CROSSING: Nathan told the committee that the standard Annexation Agreement form was used for this agreement without any changes and that the Agreement meets all the City’s ordinances. After a brief discussion a motion by Joel Vogt and a second by Gary Most to approve the Annexation Agreement was passed unanimously.

The motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Joel Vogt and a second from Gary Most. Passed. The meeting adjourned at 6:42 pm.
