Auburn Community Unit School District 10 Board met March 6.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
The following members answered roll call at the special meeting of the Auburn Board of Education on March 6, 2025. Present: Carl Kessler, Jamie Kuhlmann, Brad Smith, Jeff Miller, Michael Bates, and Lynde Pavich. Absent: Josh Smith. Also present were Darren Root, Seth McCoy, and Jeff Marsaglia.
Pavich moved to adopt the agenda. Miller seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:
Bates yea L. Pavich yea
Kessler yea B. Smith yea
Kuhlmann yea J. Smith absent
Miller yea
There being 6 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.
Miller moved to enter Closed Session at 7:01 am, as allowed under the provisions within the Open Meetings Act. Bates seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:
Bates yea L. Pavich yea
Kessler yea B. Smith yea
Kuhlmann yea J. Smith absent
Miller yea
There being 6 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.
The board came out of Closed Session at 8:08 am.
Miller moved to adjourn at 8:09 am. Bates seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous the president declared the motion carried.
