Illinois State Police firearms portal down for maintenance on May 20-21

The Illinois State Police Firearms Portal will undergo maintenance, rendering it inaccessible to the public. The portal is scheduled to be offline from 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

During this period, Representative David Friess has assured assistance for processing needs. He stated, "My staff is available to assist with processing. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call my office at 618.282.7284!"
