City of Pinckneyville City Council met Sept. 22.

CORRESPONDENCE
COMMISSIONER HICKS
1. Request from Perry County Backstoppers to collect at the four-way stop for their “fill-the-boot” collection on October 4, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please see attached.
2. Request from St. Bruno Church to close North Sullivan Street in front of St. Bruno Parish Center for Trunk-N-Treat on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please see attached.
3. Request approval for liquor establishments with Class A, D, and F Liquor Licenses to remain open until at 2:00 a.m. on Mardi Gras night and New Year’s Eve.
4. Set the date for Trick-or-Treat for the hours of 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for houses with porch lights on only.
COMMISSIONER KUHNERT
1. Request approval of an estimate in the amount of $11,836.63 from USDI for a regulator and meter set replacement for the meter at the high school. Please see attached.
2. Request to hire Kerry DeSpain for the Maintenance – Water Treatment Plant/Water Treatment Plant Relief Operator position.
COMMISSIONER PERADOTTA
1. Request approval of an estimate in the amount of $15,781.50 from United Steel through Kellerman’s Feed & Supply to purchase a 30’x50’ heavy duty carport for the Street Department. Please see attached.
COMMISSIONER STOTLAR
1. Request approval of annual flu/pneumonia vaccines for all city employees. Please see attached. 2. For discussion and to place on file the Fiscal Year 2025 City Audit. A representative from Rice Sullivan will be present for discussion.
MAYOR SPENCER
1. Resolution No. R-2025-26, a resolution to be placed on file, authorizing the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, to enter into an Agreement for Grant Assistance with a Taste of Fantasy, LLC D/B/A Pinckneyville Dairy Queen at 106 South Main Street. Please see attached.
