Auburn Community Unit School District 10 Board met Sept. 17.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The following members answered roll call at the regular meeting of the Auburn Board of Education on September 17, 2025. Present: Carl Kessler, Jamie Kuhlmann, Brad Smith, Jeff Miller, Michael Bates, Lynde Pavich, and Tyler Berola. Absent: Also present were Matt Grimm, Landon Lounsberry, Christy Bailey, Amy Donaldson, Ryan Gardner, and Seth McCoy. Present: Josh Holman, Melissa Warwick, Ashley LeBar, Aiden Beck, Cindy Essex, Tabitha Abbott, McKenna Farnsworth, Brooke Scheib, Bekah Essex, Lillian Abbott, Carrie Stead, Miah McKain, Emily Dennis, Emia Garoutte, Delaney Barrow, Bella Hembrough, Briana Giron Vega, Abby Cortesi, Lilliana Millburg, Hannah Essex, Joey Coleman, Abbigale Cowan, Katie Thompson, Dawn Wheat, Erin Bidleman, and Ruby Howard, secretary to the board. 

Kuhlmann moved to adopt the agenda. Miller seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:

There being 7 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.

Miller moved to open the FY26 Budget Hearing. Bates seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:

Kessler asked for discussion / public comment. There was none.

Bates moved to close the FY26 Budget Hearing. Miller seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:

There being 7 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.
