There were no new registered sex offenders living in Monroe County in March, compared to the month before, according to the Illinois Police Sex Offender Registry.
There was one offender convicted of a crime involving drugs living in Monroe County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2024, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the SW Illinois News.
Perry County has three new sex offenders registered as living there as of the first quarter of 2025, compared to the previous quarter, according to the Illinois Police Sex Offender Registry.
