The Highway Committee of the Jefferson County Board met recently and voted to recommend to the full board the monthly fuel bid be awarded to Synenergy.
The price was set at $1.5455 per gallon for diesel $1.3845 for gallon for gasohol, for a combined price of $2.930.
The committee also voted to recommend to the full board the installation of a School Zone flashing light at Wells Bypass and Ambassador Lane.
The committee also approved a bridge at Richview Road for $27,000.
