The Carbondale Park District will host an outdoor dodgeball tournament at the Tatum Heights Park basketball court on May 6, the district's website reports.
The tournament format will be double elimination, with teams consisting of six players.
The matches will start at 11 a.m. and continue until all matches in each bracket are done. Tournament brackets are divided as 18 and older, high school, middle school, and grades 3-5. Each bracket's winning team will receive a medal.
The cost to participate is $12 for teams whose members are all residents of the park district and $15 for all other teams.
Tatum Heights Park is located at 402 S. Cedarview Street.
