Tilden Fire Protection District responded to 13 calls in 2017 - 23.5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Tilden included 13 fires - three structure fires, three vehicle fires and seven other fires.

In all, the department saw $25,500 in fire loss - or about $1,962 per fire.

The Tilden Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $34,029 in 2017.
