Republican state House candidate David Friess vows to remain a pro-life advocate once he arrives in Springfield.
“I was blessed to attend a pro-life rally today with other great house candidates like Mike Babcock, Doug Jameson and Congressman Mike Bost,” Friess posted on Facebook. “I will strongly stand for the life of the unborn in Springfield.”
A retired Air Force crew chief who served during the time of Desert Storm, Friess is running against Rep. Jerry Costello (D-Smithton) for the 116th District seat in November’s general election. He recently signed a “People’s Pledge” calling for the ouster of longtime House Speaker Mike Madigan (D-Chicago).
