Report: Coulterville spent $9,722 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Coulterville Unit School District 1 is up 6.7 percent from five years ago, according to a SW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Randolph County school district spent $9,113 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,722 in 2017-18.

The district's enrollment remained unchanged over the same period, with 212 students.

Coulterville's spending in 2017-18 was 27.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
