Village of Coulterville Village Board met August 19

Village of Coulterville Village Board met Aug. 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Those present for the roll call were Board members; Dyson, Long, Knope, Wine and Campbell. Wright was absent.

Moved by Wine, second by Knope to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes. 

Moved by Knope, second by Wine to approve Minutes for August 5, 2019 regular meeting. All Ayes. 

Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve payment of invoices for August 19, 2019. All Ayes. 

Moved by Wine, second by Dyson, to approve July 2019 Treasurer's Report. All Ayes.

REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS

Financial report: Nothing to report. 

Cemetery report: Nothing to report. 

Sewer report: Nothing to report. 

Park report: JS and Sons Roofing donated the labor and installed the roof on the new concession stand at the village park. 

Recycle report: Nothing to report. 

Water report: The water temperature of the lake is still very high resulting in taste issues with the finished water. 

Street report: Nothing to report.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT/GUESTS

The village wide yard sale will be Saturday, September 14, 2019. Free sign up at is available at village hall for those who wish to be placed on the map.

The fall festival will be held Saturday, September 21st beginning at 9 am.

PUBLIC COMMENT

NEW BUSINESS:

Moved by Wine, second by Long to approve Ordinance 19-544 authorizing the execution of a redevelopment agreement for the property at 101 S. Fifth Street. All Ayes. The property and structures have been vacant since 2008 and will require demolition. It was recently acquired by the Village for redevelopment purposes.
