PUBLIC COMMENT

NEW BUSINESS:

The board discussed the building at 410 E. Grant Street. It has been shown numerous times for possible businesses, each determining that the remodel costs would make it cost prohibitive. The village has received several bids for demolition and is awaiting one more bid. Bids will be reviewed at the next meeting and the board will determine what to do with the building at that time.

Moved by Wine, second by Dyson to approve Ordinance 19-542 providing for alternative proposals for the property at 101 S. Fifth Street. All Ayes. The property and structures have been vacant since 2008 and will require demolition. It was recently acquired by the Village for redevelopment purposes.

Moved by Wine, second by Wright to approve Illini Asphalt bid of $23,116.83 to oil, chip and roll streets. All Ayes.
