Trinity United Presbyterian Church issued the following announcement on Feb. 7.
Join us this Sunday as we continue in our Exodus series with the Fifth Commandment: “Honor father and mother.” This commandment presents a shift from the first four commandments that focused on loving and honoring God. These latter six commands show how to serve God by loving others. This fifth command concerns the most basic unit of society: the family. Loving from generation to generation is the greatest blessing of all. It contains a promise of an inheritance greater than any material estate. There are few treasures greater than a clear conscience in honorable family living.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
