Baldwin Fire Protection Department responded to 14 calls in 2018 - 75 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Baldwin included 14 fires - six structure fires, four vehicle fires and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $80,400 in fire loss - or about $5,743 per fire.

The Baldwin Fire Protection Department had an annual budget of $54,643 in 2018.
