City of Columbia Board of Trustees of the Police Pension Fund met Oct. 12.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL

2. PUBLIC COMMENTS

3. MINUTES - Reading and approval of the minutes of the prior meeting(s)

4. CORRESPONDENCE

A) Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation (Executive Order 2021-23)

B) Recent correspondence from IPOPIF regarding transition. (See Agenda item 8A)

5. BILLS

6. TREASURER’S REPORT - Linda Sharp

7. INVESTMENT REPORT - Kevin Doak of Wealth Management for Busey Bank.

8. OLD BUSINESS

A) Discuss status of Circuit Court filing of lawsuit to challenge consolidation law and discuss updated communication from IPOPIF regarding transition issue.

B) Review and approve Annual Statement, Interrogatories and Audit to be filed with the Illinois Department of Insurance no later than October 30, 2021 (no extensions will be granted by IDOI).

9. NEW BUSINESS

A) Discuss status of Gary Craig request for portability from Cahokia Police Pension Fund to Columbia Police Pension Fund.

B) Discuss new legislation regarding Transfer of IMRF time, PA 102-0113 and transfer of credible service time, PA 102-0063 (Article 3 to Article 4)). Address any requests from members requesting action on these Acts.

C) Discuss and approve setting of 2022 board meeting dates (currently meet on the 2nd Tuesday of quarterly months at 12:30 p.m. (1/11, 4/5, 7/12, 10/11/2022))

C) Review and approve annual COLA increases, effective January 1, 2022.

D) Discuss and approve remote participation rule.
