2021: Home prices in Columbia increased

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Columbia rose by $25,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $400,000 - a 6.7% increase over the $375,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were three homes sold in Columbia in 2020.

The median sales tax in Columbia for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $7,193, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for 2021.
