Report: Coulterville School District spent $11,568 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Coulterville Unit School District 1 was up 21.7 percent from five years ago, according to the SW Illinois News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Randolph County school district spent $9,508 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,568 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 202 to 204 students over the same period.

Coulterville's spending in 2019-20 was 20.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
