City of Red Bud City Council met Dec. 20.

SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Members Present: Acting Mayor Susan Harbaugh, Ben Schwartzkopf, Curt Guebert, Mike Rheinecker, Bill Hanebutt, Jeremy DeMond, Rodney Nevois, Kyle Donjon, Alan Piel

I. Call to Order at 7:26 P.M. by Acting Mayor Harbaugh

II. Roll Call by Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker

III. Health Insurance Renewal and Teledoc Incentive Approval

Motion made by Council Member Hanebutt, seconded by Council Member Guebert to authorize approval to accept the proposed rates from CIGNA IL Silver PPO for the employee health insurance policy, effective January 1, 2022. The vote was as follows: Schwartzkopf, aye; Guebert, aye; Rheinecker, aye; Hanebutt, aye; Nevois, aye; Donjon, aye. Motion carried.

Motion made by Council Member Nevois, seconded by Council Member Schwartzkopf to authorize approval to contribute $100 for two $100 incentive gift card drawings (split evenly with Einstein Consulting), to promote employee participation in the TELEDOC program. The vote was as follows: Guebert, aye; Rheinecker, aye; Hanebutt, aye; Nevois, aye; Donjon, aye; Schwartzkopf, aye. Motion carried.

IV. UltraSite Invoice

No action

V. Authorization to Hire Nicholas Rinehart

Motion made by Council Member Hanebutt, seconded by Council Member Rheinecker to authorize approval to hire Nicholas Rinehart as full-time police officer at the current rate of pay. The vote was as follows: Rheinecker, aye; Hanebutt, aye; Nevois, aye; Donjon, aye; Schwartzkopf, aye; Guebert, aye. Motion carried.

VI. Salt Shed Roof Repair

Motion made by Council Member Guebert, seconded by Council Member Schwartzkopf, to authorize approval to repair the salt shed roof, NTE $3,000. The vote was as follows: Hanebutt, aye; Nevois, aye; Donjon, aye; Schwartzkopf, aye; Guebert, aye; Rheinecker, aye. Motion carried.
