City of Red Bud Finance Committee met June 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Rodney Nevois, Bill Hanebutt, Mike Rheinecker, Alan Piel

Committee Members Absent: Ben Schwartzkopf

Council Members Present: Curt Guebert, Kyle Donjon

Council Members Absent: Jeremy DeMond

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Rebecca Cooper, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Others Absent: Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker

Committee Chairman Nevois called the meeting to order at 6:02 P.M.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – May 15, 2023

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Nevois, seconded by Committee

Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the May 15, 2023, meeting. Carried

II. CD Information

A. Maturing CDs

There will be CDs maturing in October and reinvestment rates will be requested for the next meeting.

III. Financial Dashboard

Chairman Nevois reported that the revenue is at 8% of the budget, while expenses are at 5% of the budget and we are at the very beginning of the fiscal year.

IV. Illinois County Harvest – Quote for Winter Planters

Recommendation made by Committee Member Rheinecker, seconded by Committee Member Piel, to approve the proposal from Illinois Country Harvest for the purchase and decorating of two Christmas trees and fresh Christmas greens for city hall, NTE $2,250. Carried

V. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None
