The majority of students in Randolph County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 3,818 students attending Randolph County district schools, 84.8% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 5.1% of Randolph County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Randolph County districts, representing 85.4% of the student body.

Sparta Community Unit School District 140 had the most diverse student body in the Randolph County, including African American, Hispanic, Multi-racial, and white.
