City of Pinckneyville City Council met Aug. 14.

CORRESPONDENCE

COMMISSIONER HICKS

1. Resolution No. R-2023-33, a resolution authorizing the posting of a Slow Children Playing Sign within the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois – East Parker Street.

2. Request approval of an invoice from Richard Boucher in the amount of $2,600.00 for work at the Pinckneyville-DuQuoin Airport to be paid from the airport fund.

3. Request from Perry County Backstoppers to collect at the four-way stop for their “fill-the-boot” collection on September 30, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.

4. Request approval from Pinckneyville Community High School to hold a homecoming parade on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 2:15 p.m.

COMMISSIONER KUHNERT

1. Request approval of a quote from IMCO in the amount of $16,539.35 to replenish common water meter stock for repairs and new services to be paid from the water fund.

2. Request approval of a quote from USDI at a price not to exceed $4,569.00 for gas service line installation to the community center for an emergency generator to be paid from the community center/general fund.

COMMISSIONER PERADOTTA

1. Request approval to place an order and purchase a 2024 Ford F-250 truck from Vogler at a cost not to exceed $42,996.00.

COMMISSIONER STOTLAR

1. Resolution No. R-2023-31, a resolution placed on file at the July 24, 2023, regular council meeting, authorizing the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, to enter into an agreement with Rice Sullivan, LLC, for audit services.

MAYOR SPENCER

1. Resolution No. R-2023-29, a resolution placed on file at the July 24, 2023, regular council meeting, to accept bid proposals from Hagene Excavating, LLC, for demolition services at 707 Belle and 106 Fallon Street.

2. Ordinance No. O-2023-11, an ordinance placed on file at the July 24, 2023, regular council meeting, authorizing the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, to enter into a second amendment to Option and Lease Agreement with Kiwi Solar 1, LLC.

3. Resolution No. R-2023-30, a resolution placed on file at the July 24, 2023, regular council meeting, authorizing a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, and Taps and Vine, LLC.

4. Ordinance No. O-2023-12, an ordinance placed on file at the July 24, 2023, regular council meeting, approving an addendum agreement between the City of Pinckneyville, Illinois and the Illinois Department of Transportation regarding the project for realignment of Illinois State Route 127.

5. Request approval of an invoice from St. Clair Service Company in the amount of $5,412.50 for Sports Turf Mixture for the Soccer Park. Please see attached.

6. Approval to hire three part-time employees for the After-School Program at the Community Center.
