There were 23 Asian students enrolled in Monroe County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Asian students made up 0.5% of the 4,985 students in Monroe County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the second least represented ethnicity.

Among the three districts in Monroe County, Columbia Community Unit School District 4 recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 23 students.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the story are located in cities associated with Monroe County.
