City of Red Bud Public Works Committee met May 20.

Committee Chairman Guebert called the meeting to order at 6:06 P.M. There being no quorum, the meeting was for discussion purposes only.
Old Business
I. Power Plant
A. Plant Report
Urge testing is scheduled for early July.
II. Utilities/Streets
A. Electric
IMEA will be at the June committee meeting to discuss the electric contract extension. Eckart is working on the sports energy lighting project, which has a “use it or lose it” end of the year deadline.
B. Gas
Nothing to report
C. Water
Nothing to report
D. Sewer
Nothing to report
E. Streets
Eckart and Mueller are working on the schedule for asphalt patching, curb, and guttering, through the MFT program.
New Business
I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting April 15, 2024
II. Proposal from VIPower Services – PLC Upgrades to the Generators
This is a budgeted upgrade, and the work will not be done until after September 15th, due to off peak season.
III. Proposal from UltraSite – Replacement Picnic Table for Utility Office
This is a budgeted item. This will be on the June 3rd council agenda.
IV. Sewer Adjustment Request – 120 N. Main St.
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda.
V. Sewer Adjustment Request – 325 Washington St.
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda.
VI. Proposal for New Printer/Copier for Utility Office
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda. This is a budgeted item.
VII. Training Request for Derek Allen – IRWA Training in Grand Tower, IL on June 4, 2024
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda.
VIII. Authorization to Purchase Ground Protection Mats
This will be on the June 3rd council agenda. This is a budgeted item.
IX. Proposal from Contemporary Life Saving Training, LLC – 3 New AEDs

X. Authorization to Purchase Replacement Relief Valves for All Gas Regulator Stations
