The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) is expanding its pilot program to allow more professionals who submit paper applications to make payments online. Additionally, the service will now be available for certain professionals seeking to restore or reinstate their licenses.

In a related initiative, IDFPR is launching a new process aimed at active-duty service members and their spouses. This new process reduces the requirements for applying for licensure in Illinois. To be eligible, applicants must have active duty orders to be stationed in Illinois, hold an active license in their profession from another state, and have lawfully worked within that profession within the last two years.
