City of Red Bud Zoning Committee met July 15.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Alan Piel, Ben Schwartzkopf, Curt Guebert, Jeremy DeMond, Rodney Nevois

Committee Members Absent: None

Council Members Present: Mike Rheinecker, Bill Hanebutt, Kyle Donjon Council

Members Absent: None

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Rick Cooper, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Administrative Officer Jill Landgraf

Others Absent: City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Committee Chairman Piel called the meeting to order at 6:55 P.M.

Old Business

I. Red Bud Business Park

A. Lot Pricing Worksheet

Code Admin./Engineer Mueller presented suggested lot prices for the RBBP, one with and one without the grant money. Mueller and Nevois worked on this and felt that Iteration 2, With Grant Money, makes more sense. This would give the city a starting point and prices can always be negotiated. The lots are smaller than the other industrial parks but are designed so two or more could be combined as one. The setbacks for these lots have also been reduced.

Recommendation made by Committee Member Nevois, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to authorize approval to use Iteration 2, With Grant Money, totaling $891,350 for the Red Bud Business Park – Phase 1 Lot Pricing. Carried

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting June 17, 2024 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Piel, seconded by Committee Member Nevois, to approve the minutes from the June 17, 2024, meeting. Carried

II. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Code Admin./Engineer Mueller reminded everyone that on August 26, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. there will be a Comprehensive Plan formative session with the council and all sub committees.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:05 P.M.
