City of Red Bud Public Health and Safety Committee met July 15.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Curt Guebert, Bill Hanebutt, Mike Rheinecker, Rodney Nevois, Kyle Donjon

Committee Members Absent: None

Council Members Present: Ben Schwartzkopf, Jeremy DeMond, Alan Piel

Council Members Absent: None

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Rick Cooper, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Officer Jill Landgraf

Others Absent: City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Committee Chairman Hanebutt called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – June 17, 2024 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Nevois, to approve the minutes from the June 17, 2024, meetings. Carried

II. Departmental Activity Report

The monthly department activity report was included in the packets.

III. Permission to Sell 2010 Dodge Charger on GovDeals

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve authorization for Chief Brittingham to sell the 2010 Dodge Charger on GovDeals. Carried

IV. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Committee Member Nevois asked about the progress on the cameras for the edges of town. Brittingham said the cameras are up; he is waiting on DEA to get the Memorandum of Understanding to him.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:32 P.M.
