I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting June 17, 2024
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the June 17, 2024, meetings. Carried
II. Website Quotes
Administrative Officer Landgraf included in the packets, four quotes to update the city website, with options for new branding and logos for the city. She asked that the council members review these and contact her with any questions or comments. Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf noted the difference in pricing and feels that a total revamp of the website is in order. This was tabled to allow time to review of the quotes/services.
III. Randolph County Shrine Club to Collect at the Four-Way Stop-Friday, August 30, 2024
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to authorize approval of the request from Randolph County Shrine Club to collect at the four-way stop on Friday, August 30, 2024, 2:30 – 6:00 P.M. Carried
IV. Request from Chamber for Holiday Lighted Parade Resolution No. 24-002
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Nevois, to authorize approval of Resolution No. 24-002: “A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF THE STREET CLOSING FOR THE RED BUD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE LIGHTED PARADE/HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS” on Friday, November 29, 2024, 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. Carried.
V. Savannah Kate’s Request to Close Part of West Field Drive for Two Upcoming Benefits- July 26, 2024 & August 17, 2024
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to authorize approval of the request from Nick Horrell, Svannah Kate’s, to close West Field Drive from Route 3 to the entrance of the Baptist Church parking lot, on July 26, 2024, and August 17, 2024, for benefits. Carried
