Friess stated. “These scholarships recognize their hard work and reinforce our commitment to preserving Illinois’ rich outdoor heritage. I will continue to advocate for policies that ensure future generations can enjoy hunting, fishing, and all the joys of our natural resources.”

The Illinois Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus is a bipartisan group focused on protecting and advancing policies related to hunting, fishing, trapping, and wildlife management. Its mission is to advocate for Illinois' outdoor recreational assets and protect pursuits involving fin, fur, and feather. As an avid hunter and shooter himself, Rep. Friess supports the caucus's vision which allows outdoors enthusiasts to enjoy their sports.
