I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting August 19, 2024
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to approve the minutes from the August 19, 2024, meetings. Carried
II. ComWell – Request to Use Ratz Park, Pavilion #1, Less Fee & Reserve Parking Spots for Handicapped Access on September 27, 2024 – 7AM-4PM for Special Olympics Motor Activity Training Program (MATP)
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member DeMond, to authorize approval of the request from ComWell to reserve Ratz Park #1, less fee, and reserve parking spots for handicap access on September 27, 2024, 7AM-4PM. For the Special Olympics Motor Activity Training Program. Carried
III. Witches Night Out T-Shirt Sponsorship
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to authorize approval of the request from the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce to be a sponsor for the Witches Night Out T-Shirts at a cost of $100. Carried.
IV. Knights of Columbus Evansville Request to Collect at Four-Way Stop – September 20, 2024, 3:00-6:30 P.M. (Previously Approved for September 13, 2024 – Rained Out)
No action, this has already been approved.
V. Request from Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois to Place Purple Ribbons on Trees in October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to authorize approval of the request from the Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois to place purple ribbons on the trees in October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Carried
VI. David Friess Request to Use Ratz Park Pavilion #1, Less Fee for Women’s Leadership Initiative Scavenger Hunt on October 19, 2024 – Rescheduled Due to Homecoming
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member DeMond, to authorize approval of the request from David Friess to reserve Ratz Park Pavilion #1, less fee, for the Women’s Leadership Initiative Scavenger Hunt on October 19, 2024.Carried
