City of Red Bud Zoning Committee met Sept. 16.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Alan Piel, Ben Schwartzkopf, Curt Guebert, Jeremy DeMond, Rodney Nevois

Committee Members Absent: None

Council Members Present: Mike Rheinecker, Bill Hanebutt, Kyle Donjon

Council Members Absent: None

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Rick Cooper, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Administrative Officer Jill Landgraf, Finance Officer Liz Cowell, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Committee Chairman Piel called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Old Business

I. Red Bud Business Park Update

Code Admin./City Engineer Mueller said the IEPA water and sewer permits are expected in two to three weeks. Once they are back that will complete Phase I plans and specs. Mueller hopes to go out for bids later in the fall.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting August 19, 2024

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Piel, seconded by Committee Member Nevois, to approve the minutes from the August 19, 2024, meeting. Carried

II. Mural Permit Application – Health Focus, Inc./Lanetta Adams

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Piel, seconded by Committee Member Nevois, to approve the mural application from Lanetta Adams, Health Focus, Inc. at 505 South Main St. Carried

III. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:01 P.M.
